One word to explain why I love W&T: Emmi Isham

Posted on Mar 11, 2015

SONY DSCTo celebrate the launch of our new site we’ve been speaking to some of the people who’ve played a huge part in the work and asking them to select one aspect of the company they most admire. Last week we spoke to Ali Belbin and this week it’s the turn of the wonderful Emmi Isham.

Emmi Isham has been involved with W&T on a number of projects. In her career she has worked with Round Midnight Ltd. where she was Artistic Director before moving to pursue the creation of her own company, Bonanza Creative. Emmi has chosen the word ‘Champion’ to describe the work we create. Here’s her explanation of why she chose it:

I’ve used the word Champion because over the past twelve years of working with W&T, I have been continually inspired by their committed interest in championing the voices of many overlooked groups and individuals. All of the projects I’ve been involved with have been concerned with telling the accounts of everyday people and their real lives. They seek to celebrate the lives of you and I, enable us to laugh as well as have a voice.

We’ll be featuring more of the brilliant people who help make our projects great in the next few weeks.
