Women & Theatre and the Amirah Foundation are looking for women to help produce a new theatre production called Open Doors.

Open Doors will be a high quality production with storytelling at its heart.  It will present women coming out of multi-coloured doors to share the stories and experiences of real women.  The diverse stories will be both funny and moving, portraying the truth of some women’s hardships whilst also celebrating achievements and positive experiences.

There are opportunities to get involved in writing the stories or performing in the show – or both!  In addition to live performance, some stories may be recorded as a soundtrack for parts of the performance.

Sessions will take place at the Amirah Foundation (Women’s Enterprise Hub, 249 Ladypool Road, Sparkbrook) with final rehearsals & performances at mac birmingham on Sunday 9th July 2017.
