Health
Women & Theatre is one of the longest standing and pioneering companies working in the Health sector. We think about health holistically, as the spiritual, social, physical and mental wellbeing of the whole community, and promote this through interactive performance. We think having a laugh is the best medicine - so you'll find humour in all our work. All our programmes are created from in depth research regularly updated, and include an appropriately tailored post show discussion.
The Company's Health programmes are designed to be equally effective for either health promotion activity or health professional's training.
Over 25 years in the sector we've built up a profile of high quality work and a sterling reputation for excellence winning awards such as GlaxoSmithKline UK Impact Award 2004 & Health Alliance Award 1996. We're also regularly commissioned to create new projects by organisations such as PCTs including Walsall, Dudley, East Birmingham and Heart of Birmingham, The Royal College of Nursing, Women's Nationwide Cancer Control Campaign, Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Trust and SCOPE.
