Education
"Education is not the filling of a pail but the lighting of a fire."
WB Yeats
W&T use drama based activities to examine patterns of behaviour and to support personal and social development. We adopt the broadest definition of education working with children and staff in and out of schools as well as adults in community and educational settings. All our programmes are developed from in depth research with the target groups
The Company's education work includes a number of project models, each appropriately tailored to the setting and participants involved:
* performances with facilitated discussions/workshop
* participatory workshops
* intensive full day or week long programmes
* creating productions with young people or communities
Over the years we've worked with a range of commissioners and partners, including Creative Partnerships, Birmingham & Stoke on Trent, Action for Inclusion, the Looked After Children Education Service, Birmingham City Council Creative Futures, and many individual schools.
