Community
W&T maintains a wide programme of work to appeal to a range of different groups of people. We produce drama from in depth research rooted in different communities & cast representatively of the content so that audiences are engaged and have a sense of ownership. We frequently work with minority groups and those at the fringes of society including women on probation, looked after children,
In recognition of the diversity of our audiences, we develop projects using a range of models:
* Plays which tour to accessible community venues
* Drama courses
* Interactive workshops
* Creating productions in collaboration with community groups
We also produce bilingual and non-language based dramas to increase access and provide signing & interpreting at performances where appropriate.
